A Roy-AL with cheeeese....
Sitting down in the easy chair today :Larisa Bryski
Current musical thang? :I’ve been performing with my band (“Larisa Bryski”) for several years now and still going strong. I’m trying to finish up a 4th album. Hopefully it’ll be done by February ’08.
Ya got a website? :http://www.larisabryski.com http://www.myspace.com/larisabryski
Can I have a listen? :
Let It Rain
May I get you a sandwich? :I’d love a veggie bagel sandwich from Noah’s. With cucumbers, hummus, etc. on a super onion bagel!

Magic Sandwich: Describe a scenario if you were working the graveyard shift at an all-night convenience store; who walks in, who buys what, etc…
Larisa Bryski: For some reason, everything is in black and white. Must be a "Clerks" reference. Anyway, Slash from Guns 'n' Roses walks in, drunk off of his ass and buys 3 cartons of unfiltered Camel cigarettes. I tell him that I miss the GnR days and that I'm a big fan of "Appetite for Destruction." He tells me he misses GnR too, but that they need a new singer to make the band happen again. I tell him that I'm a singer and he hires me on the spot. I become the new lead singer of Guns 'n' Roses and we go on a massive world tour. The end.
MS: Where’s the best local, non-franchised place to eat and what should one order?
LB: So many great places downtown, but I'm a die-hard fan of Ernesto's Mexican food. I usually get a margarita on the rocks or a mojito. Wait, those aren’t technically considered food, are they? Well, you won't need to order any food because they bring you free homemade chips and salsa, which comes with a hot bean dip too. MMMM. They have amazing tortillas and guacamole too.
MS: What would be the best thing about waiting to have sex until you were married?
LB: Wow. Who does THAT? I can’t think of one good reason to wait, unless you’re horrible in bed, in which case your significant other wouldn’t find out until it’s too late.

MS: Which country has the greatest flag, design-wise?
LB: Is it unpatriotic not to say the U.S.? Cuz I really love Japan's flag with the big red dot! It makes a statement, like “BAM! I’m a FLAG!”
MS: What, not who, would you like to have a photo of? (No humans in the photo)
LB: I'd like to have a photo of the pile of Britney's hair on the floor of that salon.
MS: Which two recording artists should never, ever record together?
LB: Ted Nugent and Moby
MS: What's the worst thing you've ever smelled?
LB: Moldy guitar strap. Never put your guitar away in your case with the sweaty strap still on it…especially in the summer. When you open it a week later it will REEK! A close second would be a sweaty drum stool, but I do my best to avoid those whenever possible, and I suggest you do the same.
MS: What is/was your favorite piece of furniture- either in your current house or one from a previous or childhood home?
LB: When I was a kid we had this weird beat-up “fainting couch” from the fifties. The arms were as tall as the back, and they’d fold out flat like a chaise lounge if you pulled on them. People would come over and sit on the arms and if they moved around too much the arms would give way and they’d come crashing down. It’s like the couch was alive. It was awesome.
MS: What mythological creature do you wish you could be?
LB: A mermaid. I would very much like to wear a seashell bikini top on a regular basis.
MS: For this one, I'll provide the answer, you give the applicable question: The Magna Carta.
LB: “What is the name of an ancient historical document, which influenced the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights?” I’ll take “pulling high school history tidbits out of my butt” for 500.
